Great teams function best when each member understands his
or her unique contribution to the team and appreciates the
unique contributions of the other team members. On most teams
the members regard one another because of the various gifts
and skill sets they bring to the team, but the "Core
Motivators" of the various members remain a mystery.
The Vision For Your Life⢠process provides the various
members of a team with a solid understanding of their own
deep contribution as well as a strong sense of the contributions
of each other. As the members of the team work through the
various steps of the discovery process they gain a deep appreciation
for the other members of the team.
Once all the members of the team have completed the process,
they each have the ability to work out of their strengths.
The team is strengthened and more successful as each participant
works out of his or her strength.
The team leader has an increased ability to place the "right
people in the right seats on the bus" by understanding
not only the individuals' skill sets, but also their "Core
Motivator."
