CORPORATE STRATEGIC VISIONING

Organizations need to "know who they are and be it"
in order to effectively position themselves in the marketplace.
A successful organization leads out of its strength, and builds
congruency with its members and customers around a strategic
vision.

When I work with an organization we discern the "Core
Values" of the organization, set a "Star" statement
and then define "Mountains."

In this process we involve the key stakeholders of the organization
in an extensive interview process gathering key information
about the "Core Values" and "Star" of
the organization. When the fact-finding part of the process
has been completed we meet with the Board and senior management
to identify the "Core Values" and set the "Star."
Once this has been accomplished we then assist the management
team in establishing "Mountains."

When an organization has completed this visioning process
they are successful because they are able to:

• Clearly articulate their Core Values to every key
constituency, including employees, suppliers, and customers.

• Make sure that everyone is aiming for the same "Star."

• Establish “Mountains” that are congruent
with their "Core Values" and "Star."
