New Semimar for Twenty and Thirty Somethings: February 25, 26 & 27, 2011, ST Louis

As I walked across the stage at my graduation from Seminary I said to the President as he handed me my diploma, “Now that I have this degree, what am I going to do with it?”

It’s a great question.  Now that you have this life…what are you going to do with it?

We are pleased to announce that the Vision For Your Life process is now available in a large group format to college students, and those just out of college– at a significantly reduced price –.

The Vision For Your Life process will give you the answers to the questions:

Who am I at my core?
What do I want my whole life to be about?
What benchmarks are congruent with who I am and what my life is about?

Who am I at my core?
Vision For Your Life begins with the question, “who am I?”  We believe that in order to set a vision for your life you need to begin with who you are – not what you do.  We all want to know, “who did God make me?” and that is the first step in Vision For Your Life.   While personality, gifts and skills are important to understanding our abilities, the more important question – and the one most often neglected – is “who am I?”

The first step in Vision For Your Life is understanding your “Core Motivator.”  Your “Core Motivator” – who you are at your core - is why you do what you do the way you do it.’  In other words, it’s everything.  Once you understand your “Core Motivator” you will understand the decisions you’ve made, and you will have a clear sense of how to make future decisions.

What do I want my whole life to be about?
The old saying, “If you aim at nothing you’ll hit it every time,” is true.  You must have something to aim at – a navigational point – in order to successfully navigate your life.  You need a direction.  This is different from goal setting.  Traditional goal setting is based on arbitrary wants or desires – a good job, a family, a big house, etc.  A navigational point gives you the direction for your life and the clear picture of what that direction is.

We call this second step in the Vision For Your Life process, setting a “STAR.”  A STAR is a navigational point similar to the North Star that sailors used to navigate at sea.  They could look at the North Star and get their “directional bearings.”  We will help you set a star that is based on who you are so that you have “directional bearings” for navigating your life.

What benchmarks are congruent with who I am and what my life is about?
Once you have discovered who you are, and set a direction for your life, you are now able to establish benchmarks.  We do this in five year increments that give you a sense of what you want to accomplish with your life.  These benchmarks are significant because they are congruent with who you are (your “Core Motivator”) and what you want your life to be about (your STAR) .

With the right benchmarks you won’t wake up at forty years old and feel like you’ve wasted your life, because you will have set congruent benchmarks that will enable you to live your life out of who you are.

Now the process that has been life changing to so many people – at $3,000/ person – is available to those in the their twenties and thirties for a greatly reduced rate. The cost of the seminar is $350 for those in their twenties and $500 for those in their thirties.

You’ve spent – or are spending - a significant sum of money getting an education, now it’s time to make the investment that will enable you to make the most of your life.
